Arte Aqua viva is an LLC invested in community action. It birthed from a grassroots organization in 2007, dedicated to empowering communities with artist residencies culminating in theatrical productions and education. Throughout the years, AAV continued providing communities across the Central Valley and Bay Area with artistic experiences to help BIPOC folks take social action and address systemic inequities with creative expression. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, AAV began The Mural Project to provide folks with an outlet to protect their mental health and inspire youth and community members to tell their story and take place in public art. Today, AAV continues serving our community as a social impact LLC dedicated to its mission and bringing artistic experiences to marginalized communities. We partner with schools, non profits, local businesses and companies to bring their creative projects to life while working to create a more equitable world.
