Detrás de darkened cielos and joto colors in the horizon las raíces de una magnifica ciudad emerge through the cracks where crackling skies roar the chants of the indigenous revolutionaries who stood strong slaying oppressive forces fighting for what’s right

And so here I stand before you today

Pedro El de Guadalajara, the little boy who took his first breath of air in this magical city but then stripped away from this land to chase sueños en el Norte, he now inhales fumes of corruption and hate under this  red white and blue land pero his raices Tapatias ground him and keep him fighting for what’s right

Yo soy Pedro El de Guadalajara, Ilumíname y encuentras un joto chingón, here to break generational curses and stand up against the religious lynchings of gays under my own home, so blood brothers and sisters, Ilumíname and you’ll find your authentic hermanito

Pedro El de Guadalajara, a proud born joto who glows brightly under this rainbow sky and stands stronger than ever 

Ilumíname, leave my side or stay, whichever you choose I’ll be here to slay another day, for I am not alone and still hear the chants and cries of those revolutionaries who fought for us to have better days
