The collect calls kept us intact 

But his dreams became hostage, kept idle, locked behind rusted metal bars 

His prison letters beat the tears out my soul 

But propelled my head high 

This little brown boy would not fall victim to this oppressive world 

AmeriKKKa you  took mi apa

Fractured our journey 

And spit him back to our native land

But you did NOT take our Dream 

His sacrifices live within us and we will strive for generations until his manifestations fall into place
